xStandard Wordpress Plugin, sortof

Marc March 3rd, 2007

I am currently putting the finishing touches to a plug-in of sorts for the WordPress admin area. It is a couple of javascripts to allow you to swap out the built in WordPress editor for an xstandard editor. You will be able to switch back and forth as you wish without re-loading the page.

Xstandard produces standards compliant xhtml mark-up, though you do need a downloadable plug-in. It’s been my editor of choice for some time now.

Have a look at xstandard.com for more info.

Leave a comment if you would like me to email you when it’s ready.

    Hi M8,
Please let me know if you are going to put this into production. The community needs a n alternative to that tinymce thing.
